Incredibly Useful!
I love these articulation handbooks by ASIP so much that this one completes my set (until she writes another). It is stuffed with everything you need to know about the ‘sh’ sound and how to teach it to your students/clients during your speech therapy sessions. I find it to be an especially useful resource for the practicum students I supervise to utilize while they are working with my students, particularly the section with the elicitation cues.

I have purchased all of the sound elicitation handbooks and they are worth every penny. So many useful strategies to take advantage of. It’s easy to get stuck on using the same tips and tricks until you have a little one who they don’t work with. Now I have so many additional strategies to try and I’m finding that I’m successful in achieving new sounds within the first session for the vast majority of kids.
