I have been waiting for these my whole career! I used them for the first time today and it was incredible to have such realistic mouth pictures to show my clients and to be able to compare and contrast multiple sounds and mouths at the same time. I can already tell these are going to be one of my most used resources. Thank you so much for making them.

This is one the best resources I have in my toolkit. My clients often request these over other cue cards. I like to use them by putting the target sound on a green paddle pop stick and the error sound on a red paddle pop stick – they work wonderful as feedback.

These mouth cues look so great. I love that they are diverse and inclusive. For kids who find the demand of looking directly at the clinician for a mouth cue difficult, this is such a good way to provide the visual. The cue for airflow is really nice also and a good reminder for those kids who need to really focus on that skill. Great for feedback also. A lovely addition to my speech resource kit.

Wow, these are really great! It’s been really useful to have these visuals that are illustrated but clear with regards to the articulatory positions and also show the features of the airstream. It’s especially useful when we have to wear masks and/or so that a model is present while I talk through the cues. Thank you so much for making these available!

A great tool for additional visual aids when addressing speech sounds, both in person and teletherapy!

I love this resource! Ok, full disclosure, I love just about everything that Adventures in Speech Pathology creates! These are so useful, and for some clients these have been the cues that have helped things “click” when working on specific sounds. Thanks for creating these!

Love the quality and detail of these mouth cues. They give that extra layer of support to those children who are really struggling with placement. Also it helps support conversation about other features of the sounds. I found them particularly useful when some of my older clients were already fixed on other phonics cues at school and the animal heads (also fab!) proved a bit too young for them. Yet another fantastic resource from Adventures in Speech to add to my ever growing collection. There is not a speech therapy day where I don’t use one of Rebecca’s resources. Keep creating!!!

You can see the thought and care that goes into each resource Rebecca makes. These cues are well thought out and so helpful. You can see the effort Rebecca has gone to to make the resource accessible (for students and practitioners) and inclusive.

I absolutely love these mouths cues, and so do my clients! So much thought has gone into every little detail, from the shape and colour of the mouth to the cue for airflow.

Fabulous resource to support my work!
When I spotted these I was so excited –
A great addition to my toolbox for shaping sounds. I’m also considering using these to support goal setting jointly with the young person.
