Whenever I have a child that I use the cycles approach with, the first thing I do is look to see if I have this recourse for the processes I’m targeting. If I don’t have it, I buy it! It’s so easy to pull these up for homework and drill practice. The kids like the games and I love the variety so we can mix it up a little bit. I love that they are in black and white and color so I don’t have to mess with printer settings.

My students love the games as a way to practice. They especially love the “Roll & Say” game. We use Hand2Mine Sea dice poppers to make it more fun. The dot dice tells us which word is next. The numeral dice tells how many times to repeat the target word. We make it a competition between the numbers to see which column will be covered up first.
